Get to Know
I'm Kirsten Sharpe, the Managing Broker and Owner of Sharpe Realty. I love helping buyers and sellers, of every age, with their real estate needs. My strongest passion and additional education lies in helping seniors navigate selling their long-held family home.
I have earned the SRES® REALTOR Designation (Senior Real Estate Specialist), which means I have demonstrated the necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel clients age 50+ through major financial and lifestyle transitions. I will counsel you on the right way to prepare and sell the family home, keeping costs to a minimum and making only the absolute necessary repairs before listing. I also have the Seller Representative Specialist designation, the premier education credential when working with sellers. I gained additional education to earn the Pricing Strategy Advisor Certification, so I can establish a fair market value for your house, based on an in-depth study of the real estate market in your area. I also have the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation, showing I have strong skills and the education needed to help buyers purchase their dream home.
I previously worked in International Sales & Marketing, with $26 Million in sales responsibility. My customers included DuPont, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo, among many other prominent companies. You can be assured I have honed my negotiation skills, so I can represent you in the best manner.
My formal education includes a Bachelor of Liberal Studies Degree in Business from Purdue University, and a Certificate in Executive Management from Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business.
I believe in giving back to my community through volunteering. I'm involved with the following organizations:
WVPE 88.1 (NPR)
Kroc Center/Salvation Army
Habitat for Humanity
South Bend Art League
DTSB (Downtown South Bend)
South Bend Venues Parks & Arts
Instructor at Forever Learning Institute
I'm also very active and enjoy sports. I run, golf, swim, kayak, and ski. My other interests include food & cooking, gardening, art, music, theatre, architecture and traveling.
For 29+ years I have lived in South Bend, in Wakarusa, and now in Granger. I love this area and I’m vested in making it a wonderful environment for all of us.
